Season
The whale-watching season runs year-round.

Departure time
The boat departs Mirissa harbour at 7am daily.
You will need to be at the harbor at least 20 minutes before departure.

The round trip takes around 4-5 hours.

When it is busy Rajesh will do two trips a day, with the second trip departing after noon.

In high season - December & January - these trips are very popular, so it is important to call ahead and book a place on the boat.

How to get to Mirissa
Mirissa is a quaint little fishing port on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It is about an hour’s drive south east of Galle and a little bit more from the well known beach of Hikkaduwa and a little bit less from Unawatuna.
